Why Custom?

  • 1. THE IDEA

Make your appointment. Let's meet and get to know one another. After a discussion about your goals I translate your ideas into sketch. Together we take an inventory. I measure your stones and weigh your fine metal in your presence. During our initial stage I'll explain how your ideas might affect budget.

  • 2. THE PLAN

Once a design is decided, I make a CAD illustration which gives you a measured image. Upon approval I accept a 50% deposit to start initial work. I employ the ancient lost wax process using state of the art equipment. My diamond standard is GHI VS quality or I will match quality to your supplied stones.

  • 3. THE EXECUTION

Gem setting and polishing are the last part of the process. Upon completion the balance is due. The big reveal never gets old. My personal mission is to exceed my client's expectations. Making my customer happy is a gift I never tire of giving. Check out my Instagram, @khmjewelry to see even more work before and afters.

  • WHAT IS CUSTOM?

Custom jewelry is a process where client and designer work together to create bespoke jewelry. Before any work is done I present a cost analysis. Once we agree to proceed I invoice for 50% the cost of the job. I keep in constant contact about every step of the process. You will be presented with CAD illustrations and photos as your project journeys along its process toward completion. I give a forecast of the date of completion so you are prepared for the delivery of your project. Upon completion final payment is due.

  • NO REFUNDS

Custom jewelry is a product requested by the buyer. Craftsmen and women provide the contracted results in a way that cannot be refunded or reversed. My service involves removal of stones and melting of gold from the jewelry you have decided to never again wear and wish to renovate.

  • WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?

I completely understand that life can get in the way! Unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable. If you decide to stop work I will alert my craftspersons and will return your property to the extent possible. If your gold has been used as deposit then it cannot be returned. The sale or refinement of fine metals or gemstones is final. Purchase of gemstones is considered final sale.
